There may be no greater compliment that when another photographer hires you to capture their family. Elizabeth is a fellow photographer that I met through an education group that we are both in on facebook! When she reached out me to book her session I was so very honored- and especially thrilled that she wanted a fall garden maternity session in Colonial Williamsburg… my favorite place to shoot!
Looks right out a fairy tale, doesn’t it!? Elizabeth really wanted a grassy field for our location but if you are in Williamsburg, you know that there aren’t really any tall grassy fields waiting for us to frolic in. So we opted to go to Colonial Williamsburg. Boy it did not disappoint!
This mamma wore two outfits: the first one is a beautiful blue gown form my JBP Client Closet, it is perfect for her! (and…. gives a little nod to her baby BOY!)
Her second outfit, a gauzy cotton sun dress, was Elizabeth’s own dress, paired with a kimono from the JBP Client Closet!

What a good looking family! I especially love their choice of natural tones and soft colors- it allows the family to pop against the beautiful flower gardens.
