A Creative Project During Lockdown. A Toy Story Newborn Session
Being that The Great COVID Lockdown of 2020 is preventing photographers from holding sessions, there has been a lot of “photo challenges” being posted in our groups here on facebook to keep us inspired, challenged & most of all, creating.⠀It’s hard to keep the juices flowing and to feel inspired & creatively thinking when so much is going on and changing.
⠀
One challenge that caught my attention was an “engagement session” someone did featuring Woody & Jessie. (I mean, COME ON… you KNOW I love Disney!!) The author of the post encouraged the group to take it from there…⠀
⠀
So what does my newborn photographer mind go to? RIGHT! A NEWBORN session, of course! I dug through the kids toys to find our dolls & a character that would be the appropriate size/shape to be their baby. ⠀
⠀
Here you go guys, a newborn session featuring some of my most beloved characters, Woody & Jessie.
I know, I know… Jessie is Buzz’s girl. Hear me out! I chose Woody and Jessie for two reasons. First, they are who were used in the photo challenge hand-off. Secondly, their arms and hands were the most ideal for posing like I would do with humans.
This session would not be possible with out the following vendors:
