I’ve known Kasey for a few years, we met while working together at a local restaurant. She is one of the sweetest women I have ever met. Not only does Kasey have a huge heart, she can shake a mean cocktail too! When Kasey contacted me to ask questions about shooting her wedding I was over the MOON to hear that she had found the perfect mate in life.
Kasey & Chris met in their high school years only to take different paths in life and reconnect in recent years. I met Chris for the first time when I arrived at the resort to shoot their wedding but his sparkling personality immediately showed me why he was the one for Kasey!
This Powhatan Plantation wedding took place at the historic site in Williamsburg, Va. The grounds at this particular vacation resort are so beautiful. They have a gorgeous manor house that lends its self to portraits, ponds with fountains, gazebos, a party pavilion, indoor and outdoor pools, playground and mini golf. Let’s not forget the added bonus of on-site lodging!
Aside from her new husband, the most important person to Kasey is her Grandfather. Photographs with him were at the very top of her priority list and it’s easy to see why!
Thank you, Kasey & Chris for choosing me to capture your Powhatan Plantation Wedding! May your lives be filled many years of happiness and laughter and relaxing by the pool… judging by all of the laughter shared on your day, I don’t think that part will be hard!
xoxo- Jessica
