Owen was scheduled to come in for his cake smash during the pandemic lockdown period of 2020. So what do you do when you have to celebrate your cake smash at 18 months instead of 12 months? You roll with the punches of 2020 and have a “One-ish” session!
You know I love simple images. This theme is a loose interpretation of Where the Wild Things Are, simplified the JBP way, of course! The letters and name topper are made by me (with the help of my trusty Cricuit Maker 2). Owen’s momma and I both love how it tuned out! Notice how the icing on the cake resembles tree bark as a nod to the book!?
No big mess here! Owen isn’t into sweets as much as he is into running and exploring. Both are excellent attributes of a curious 18 month old! Let’s be honest… as long as I get a smile, I am a happy photographer!
